Underwear from Elite Sport – ground-breaking, extreme and innovative.
In autumn 2002, Vegard Ulvang's company Elite Sport AS is launching a new brand on the market for thermal underwear. Prominent sports personalities such as Kari Traa, Bente Skari, Anders Aukland and Vibeke Skofterud will be the figureheads for the launch.
The name Bavac was developed based on values such as groundbreaking, extreme, and innovative, with positive associations to harsh climates and optimal functionality. Bavac will first be launched in Norway. One of the prerequisites for the name development was the ambition for Bavac to become an international brand in the long term.
